Chrystal is a senior majoring in environmental studies with a focus in ocean science, and a minor in communication design. She first started using Photoshop to draw digitally in middle school, and later learned more digital tools to make media for her high school magazine and for people in the contemporary art scene in her home town of Beijing. Chrystal is passionate about design that is steeped in human experiences and emotions. Her personal interests include data visualization, environmental justice, ethnography and sleeping in boxes like a cat. Chrystal really likes cats. Her favorite marine animal is the sea hare.
