Emily Lee is a junior at USC, majoring in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Accounting. Emily loves working with Adobe software, and has gained extensive knowledge on specific programs, such as Premiere. In fact, Emily has been using video editing software since elementary school! She loves making videos for her friends’ birthdays, and to tell stories in a dynamic manner. As a Broadcast Journalism major, Emily has enjoyed many of the classes offered through Annenberg. Specifically, she has enjoyed interviewing influential individuals for several of her class projects. Her advice for new students? Emily advises to take a long lunch gap. She explains that it is always a good idea to take a break to relax, and a lot of great campus events happen during that time as well! When Emily is not working at the Digital Lounge, or working on video projects for her major, she enjoys crafting origami. Emily explains, “It’s calming and you feel accomplished after you make something really nice!” Emily’s dream job is to work for Disney Channel’s Production department, since she admires the positive impact their content has on youth around the world!
